If your going for a more retro/oldschool look, don't get the spoiler put on.

If your going for a more sporty look, get the spoiler put on.

I actually think it still has the retro feel WITH the spoiler on. It has that thin spoiler look that the old Boss had. I like it and that's what I'll be getting when it arrives in two loooong weeks.

And?

Some like it, some don't. There's a GT in my town without it, and it looks good. I like it both ways, but to me it looks bare. Hey, we all have our likes, wants, and dislikes with automobiles.

eventually there are going to be tons of 05 Mustangs on the road, and tons of spoilers, I would perfer to be set apart, even if its just a little bit from the lemmings. Again JMO

Hate to tell ya, but I've seen more GT's AND V6's without the spoiler option. No matter what you get, there will be plenty of Stangs out there that resemble your car. The ducktail will be pretty sweet. Personally, I will probably get 18's later on and better rims, but other than that, the real money is going into the engine, where it counts. Just my two brown, round Lincoln heads.

Bottom line it's what YOU like best.....IMHO I REALLY like the stock Mustang spoiler as it complements the era the '05 was styled after "late 60's" ....while the duckbill does look good - it belongs on a 350Z, Porsche, or other newer style looking auto........while the Mustang in it's retro look - looks unique with it's own style spoiler. Can't go wrong either way - Good Luck!

I like it with the spoiler. It needs a molded smooth ducktail rather than the current aftermarket stick on type though.

I'd go spoiler delete, but if you think it looks plain without the spoiler there are plenty of pics on this site of different spoilers that either are or will come out, so take a look at those before you decide. If you like any of those better than factory wing or no wing, then order the delete and add the one you like after you purchase.

Now you didn't think you were going to get a clear consensus on this did you?

Like someone said, with or without, there will be a million just like it in the end. Be happy, do what you like!

I'm in the no-spoiler camp myself. I think it just looks a lot meaner without it. Also the ducktail is probably the way to go in the future, so spoilerless will definately make it a lot easier to get the ducktail on without any patch work.

I say keep the spoiler.

However, I have to say I like the way the car looks without it also.

No spoiler, but if you decide to get the spoiler then add two wings, a rudder and some alerons and it can be a retro P-51 Mustang.

You will also need a propeller, machine guns, and a torpedo bomb.
