commodities (Karpro)
Hello Karpro and everyone else, I'm new to this forum and to "THE WAIT" I was wondering a few things. Karpro do you list the commodities report weekly?(I hope so) and also I notice that you said the commodities report is regional. How many regions does Ford have and can you give us the region that your report is for? Thanks for any help and it's been a big help reading about other peoples "Big Waits".
Yes, Karpro is a huge asset to this board and he does try to list them weekly. Someone else will have to let you know about the regions. Welcome to the board and welcome to the wait.
Glad I can help. I'm not sure how many regions there are, but ours encompasses a more than 300 dealers. I'm listed as the Pittsburgh region (basically pitts, pa to cleveland, oh to rochester, ny). The percentages I post are for our region, but the national numbers will be close, usually + or - 10%. I typically get the reports on Monday or Tuesday and try to put them up immediately (except last week, had to make sure that 100% IUP wasn't a typo for 10%).

) The day I ordered I was give a pc of paper that has "Vehicle Order Confirmation" at the top, It has a order number in the top left hand corner, then a Priority11 next to it and a Dealer Number in the top right hand corner. These are the numbers I've used to call 800 # in and have gotten a C&U no serial message with. Do I need to get the DORA to use the tracking system or is the report I have good enough considering that I'm showing up in the system (C&U versus not showing up) Regards
You have the information you need to track the order. What you're not sure of is what was ordered. The conformation indicates what you wanted the dealer to order. The DORA shows what they actually typed in. Someone could have accidiently ordered black or an auto or no IUP, etc. Get your DORA then you're sure of whats coming.
