Clutch assembly being replaced?

Took my car in for service and wanted them to grease the clutch peddle because is was squeaking a bit... They are now replacing the "Clutch peddle assembly" not sure what that entails because they are ordering parts. So I don't have any part numbers yet. Just seems a bit premature to start replacing something that is used a lot. My 06 GT (purchased Aug 05) only has 19k on it. Has anyone else had this part(s) replace? I hate to say it but for a car I love so much I really feel that I need to get rid of her...

Battery issues, CD player died, the rattles, gas gauge flakes out, can't fill the gas tank up very fast (Nope they tell me its fixed on 06 and will not TSB) sigh... To extend the warranty or to let her go... That is the question.

I can't imagine it would need a new clutch at only 19k. As long as they arent making you pay for it though, new clutch can't hurt. If it was me I'd keep the car. Car's will have problems, they all do.
