Update to my “waiting sucks thread”
The car has been built, 6/5/07, shipped, 6/7/07. I have been tracking the rail car, (my wife thinks I am weird). Original destination date was 6/16/07 1430, has been updated to 6/14/07 0100. I may have the car buy this weekend.![Icon Mrgreen](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
I am sooooooooooooo excited…
Just thought I would share
Jeff

Redfire red is an amazing color on this Mustang. I love to see the car parked in the parking lot(alone) and see the red brilliantly shine. Can't you tell I love the color? Haha
Pictures are a must!

Congrats! Hopefully you'll be driving it this weekend!
Mine should be in next week, last update I got - I need to call and pester someone (dealer or Ford) again to be sure though.

Yep, when I got to the "tracking the rail car part", that's when my wife and friends thought I was over doing it.
On the other hand, my in-laws were not helping by pointing out they lived right next to the Phoenix rail yard and offered to go check it out.

Obviously your wife and friends just don't get it. I tracked mine with the help of my salesman and Blue Oval forums. I knew when it was bucked, built, shipped, and when it went through the depot in Memphis. I just "happened" to be going by the dealership at 6:00 AM, and there it was! I waited until 8:00 AM, called my salesman, and by 10:00 AM I was driving away in my new stang!
