Mike, your garage is one amazing place. It's the kind of garage, I dream of having some day, but likely will never actually have. One request though, we need picts of your stang in there, ASAP. ARe the racing stripes installed yet? Please post your Stang/Garage picts soon! I'm dying here....

Looks great. I'm going to add a few games in mine as well. One of my first additions, was a refrigerator for a few beverages.
Thanks!

Have a refrig. is a MUST! If you notice, I have refrig. next to my work bench and a TV in the corner of the shop. I spend more time out there than I do in the house. Lot's of fun tinkering around with the cars.

Thanks! The garage was my dream all my life as well. Finally, at 55 yrs. old I was able to make it happen.

The Stangs are in the other garage attached to the house. I plan to move them into the shop as soon as I get the new lifts installed. I will post some pictures, soon.

I installed the factory stripes myself, as I wanted to see if I liked them before I put painted stripes on. I decided that I liked my Stang without the stripes. The factory stripes were over $200, but I think that the test was worth it.

By the way Mike, I don't think you have enough cool rides! (sarcasm). The only problem with so many great cars, is that you have to decide which one to take on any given day. I'm sure the cars get jealous, as well. I sold my motorcycle, 63 Falcon Sprint and 65 Comet Caliente just so I wouldn't have this problem. But, if you ever need someone to help you rotate those cars, I'm your man.
Happy Holidays!

I agree, I spend more time out there than the house. I'll snap a few of mine (a work in progress) and post them soon.

Sheesh, those are some nice **** setups.

I wont be home in the daytime until next year, maybe on the eve. to take a pic when its light out, but its not worth it after seing these garages. Oh well mine will make the avg joe's garage look nice.

got one that has part of tha garage, and a bad photochopped one before I got my stang.

The camaro goes away for winter storage so I get the garage.
IT gets shared in the summer time.

O.k. john, here ya go! by the way, nice idea for a topic! It's like having a little cacoon for my baby! no one can get through on right side, kids have learned not to go on left side. the wall is solid.the adjoining 90 degree wall in front ,totally stabilizes it.And it has fabric on both sides. No more dings from wifes explorer, and toys. They are office cubicle walls,3ft wide, 6ft high.it has four panels on the side and one in front(you could put more in front if you wanted ,but they are a little pricey(about 100 a piece).I got mine free though!
Your car has it's own cubicle! Does it have a desk and stapler as well?

What brand of garage floor tiles are you using? I've been researching for my garage.

Hey Jon, thanks for sharing that site. I guess for some, money is no object. I bet you anything that the type of customer who will dole out the money for those garages will never own a Mustang.

I was shocked that the walls in that high bay weren't finished for some of the pictures!

Yea its an awesome garage. The guy designs them for dealerships and people for a living. I dream about having a lift in my garage, but I don't think I could ever justify half the stuff in that garage. He has a dyno, exhaust vac, all kinds of stuff.

I plan on building an ultimate garage one of these days. I figure if you can dream it and work hard enough towards it, it's bound to happen one of these days. I never would have dreamed that I would be driving a new mustang this year. Three years ago I was living with my parents driving an older truck and now I drive a BMW, sweet Mustang GT, and building a house without a dime from my parents, who by the think I am crazy for buy so much stuff. It just goes to show you that if you want it and work hard you can get it. Having a good job doesn't hurt either.

It's around 1000 sq. ft. It's a 4 car detached "workshop" that's behind my house. I plan to add some arcade games and a small pool table. It actually has a full bathroom, and place for me to hide when the wifey is mad.

Thanks Mike for the info ,with any luck in the next 7 years I might be able to do the same .Seeing all these shops give me lots of great ideas and hopefully someday I can make that a reality
