I have a 2005 yellow mustang and I want to get rims for it but I don't know if I should get black or chrome and if they should be 18' or 20' ? I like both so I can't decide. Need some help.

 

Well, I don't like black rims at all......so the choice is easy for me: CHROME or Polished

I personally don't like black rims. They just don't look right to me. 18" are the perfect size...20" are overkill on the bling factor IMO.

 

Personally, as far as color goes, go with what you like, with yellow i would say go black because that is a good contrast, personally i would say 18 inch or even smaller, i like the old school look of more rubber, and less wheel. It is my belief that all these huge wheels are more suited for rice rockets, and not muscle cars.

go to www.tirepros.com and click on the wheels visualizer, make sur eyou have java, if not go to www.java.com and download it first. this website will let you choose the car, color, wheels, stance, wheel and tire size and even window tint. hope that helps

I only think 20s would look good, because I already have 18s and they still dont fill up the wheel wells enough for me. I'll probably be going with 19s though since thats the biggest I can get in the Rims I want.

 

I don't like Black wheels on a yellow car. Makes me think of Bee's.

what wheels are you looking at getting? i might be able to find something in a 20 thats almost exact. plus 19 inch tires are more expensive then 20 inch believe it or not. i would say go with the 20 inch chrome and you will be happy

 

Black 18s, that is what I have and have not regretted the purchase, or steal. The shop (which will remain nameless) screwed up on my credit charge and cost me 0 for the rims and tires. BUWAHAHAHAHAHA

Black chrome is cool. I'm going to be putting 18" black bullitts on mine once I have the money.

 

If your car is going to have a black and yellow scheme like shea's then I say go with the black rim. If your not then go chrome or polished. I'm not a big fan of 20" rims I think that's to hip hop. I'd go with 18's.
