get em on the weather is getting nice finally! and don't listen if people say 285/40/18s wont fit, they are on and are the perfect size. they are a little too narrow for the 10" rim, i am going to see about getting some fatter tires out back, i dont know if they make the dunlop 9000s any wider though.

anyone who wants these rims, buy them ASAP. you can get them from discount tire, the 18x9s are not on their site but they have a few left. american muscle has the ford caps, and the 18x10s, but they don't have the 18x9s and will not have them till mid-may according to them. supposedly american racing or ford is suing the company (verde/replica alloys) and they cannoy make any more until the lawsuit gets settled. this is what discount tire told me. now if you get 2 from discount tire and 2 from american muscle, they ARE the same rims, and they are made by the same company so don't worry.

is that the 429 style hood or the 351? i've been thinking of getting the same but wasnt sure how big the 429 would be. of coarse, now that i see someone has already done exactly all the mods i wanted, i need to change my plan. cant have two mustangs looking the same.

Looks great! So many more options when you have 18 inch wheels. I wish I had gone that route instead of sticking with the 17's.

yep its the cervinis vintage boss 429 hood kit. cervinis doesn't have the 351 style scoop, just the mach 1. trust me, get one of their vintage kits, the extended hood and headlight buckets make it look meaner then a shelby in person.

I'm speechless. And jealous. And I'm not that crazy about chrome wheels. That B9 front end and retro tail is killing me however. Almost makes me wish for a minor accident and an opportunity to re-design. Then again, Sonic Blue will never be black (my only regret on my car). I like how you blended the whole Shelby/Boss thing. A little bit of whatever you liked. I would never have thought of that. I would have sticked to just one theme, but it works for you. I love my car, but the options available for this model often make me want to trade or switch styles. I gotta stay off of this site...

Very nice They look really good on your car.

I didn't know about the Ford/Verde lawsuit. I've had Verde's link in my favorites ever since I got mine. http://tradeunion.com/VerdeWheels/t.asp?n=1119 It has a store locator in case anyone is having trouble finding a set right now.

that was EXACTLY what i did, took the things i liked from my 2 favorite mustangs. lol this site has put a major dent in my wallet also. i currently have like $600 worth of bmr stuff for the rear suspension that i have to get put in just sitting in my house.

i wish i would have known about that. i went thru hell trying to get a complete set. discount tire was unsure whether it was ford or american racing suing them.

wow never seen that one before! no the cervinis is not functional, im sure you could cut it out, but i specifically did not want a functional one when i bought this hood. i daily drive the car, and even if it is pouring rain, i have to drive it. i do not trust something dumping water onto my c&l filter, for barely noticeable HP gains, if any at all. that hood also does not have the headlight and grill extensions like the cervinis, so it wont give it the mean look as much. cervinis hood is like 4" longer then stock.

Did that hood require you to move the washer jets?

Car looking real sweet Dan!

I have 18x10s in the back with the same Dunlops and size. You'll love them!

Hey, if you do go larger out back I'd be interested in buying your current ones. You going to Carlisle in June? We can try and caravan out there.

offcial style...very nice! Please don't tell me that you regularly park that beauty downtown (NYC?) and even parallel park her...whew...that scares me! Be sure to keep her protected from envious and mischevious eyes!
