Nope not just a promise! I have the order right here! It had a priority 10 rating so it was pulled and my car is actually built! It just has to sit at the plant because they are close for the next week....

I know the feeling Z71, my GT is complete and ready for transport too. They certainly make for good Xmas presents, well that and a trip/tickets to the ROSE BOWL!! HOOK 'EM!!
Our cars are probably sitting under a couple of feet of snow in sub-zero temps right now.
Congrats!

Maybe his parent's don't know their fathers? Then it would be ok because he would be using the word in proper context.

Ever since I was a little kid I've had dreams of waking up Christmas morning and my parents telling me to go look out the window and there's a new Mustang in the driveway. I'd probably drop dead of a heart attack if it actually happened. Must be an amazing feeling..

My mom ordered me a new 05 , and although we hoped and begged for it to be here by christmas it wasn't i am hping to have it by the middle/end or january at the latest, i'll call it a late b-day present which is in 2 days, to bad my car won't actually be here for it! Still great knowing though!

Well, I was hoping to wake up to a mustang, it was all I asked for. Nope. In fact I am even forgetting about an 05, too expensive, but we've been test driving an 03 GT, Awesome! Well, I checkd the inventory yesterday and it was gone! Well, I thought it was a Christmas surprise, no, well there is always next year.

Congrats Justin, thank your parents often for this wonderful gift that they have gotten you. These cars are not cheap as you know. They have worked hard to be able to afford such gifts for their child. Always appreciate all you receive from others at Christmas, no matter what the gift is. I know how you feel today, back in 1983 my dad bought me my first car, a 1983 Mustang GT, it was a burgundy color with red interior, black hood scoop and strips. I loved that car and he knew it and always did, because I let them know often. Love and appreciate your parents, they will not always be here with you.
