It sounds almost as good as the stock GT. Not there yet but close. GTO still needs to do some HW.
Is it me or is the GTO trying its best to sound like a Mustang GT?
You know I was thinking...the GTO executives must have it really hard when it comes to marketing the car.
For 2 reasons.
One: When it comes to the looks of the car its real close to a cavalier.
Two. When it comes to the HP its closer to a vette I guess.
So I suppose they must market the HP and forget about the looks because IMO the looks of the car needs some work. Just my taste and not because its a GTO.

LOL dude! The GTO's stock exhaust is MUCH louder and deeper than the GT's stock exhaust.
To be quiet honest the GTO sounds nothing like the GT.
The 4.6L has a much higher and softer pitch.... while the GTO's 6.0L has a deeper, louder gugerling note.
It comes from the engine being 1.4L bigger.

I didn't realize you were trying to trick me calling it a mustang every chance you could.
I'll stick with my original statement of "it sounds good"
but... now that I know it's a GTO I don't think it looks good.

Remove the resonators on the Stock GTO and you wont be able to hear your self think!
Dont try to argue that the GT's 4.6L is louder than the GTO's 6.0L

Just for your info those aren't exactly quiet...
Same engine as in 05' Vettes.
I test drove a GT back in Jan. and to be honest it was very quiet. Just a little louder than the 04'. (Which is not loud at all).
I mean a car that goes 0-60 in 4.6 secs is not going to be quiet. 12.92 1/4mile, trap speed of 109.7. The car is neither quiet nor slow.
Mabey u got some gunk in your ears?
I know that you are a mustang fan... and i really dont expect you to like the GTO...
But dont lie and say its quiet!

Ok now, does that make the car special and beautiful? I am afraid not because it still looks like a cavalier. Now thats just my opinion and maybe I need to get the gunk out of my ears and get a pair of glasses. :scratch:
All that matters to me is that I like the way my Stang looks and sounds.
I am not the type of guy that would buy an "ugly car" (IMO) just to have 450 HP. But thats just me.
