I was driving to work yesterday in my Mustang GT which has abut 2K miles on it and the "check gas cap" warning came on.

I pulled over and checked the gas cap but it was OK. I reset the light and a few miles later it came back on. I reset it again but it keeps coming on.

Has any body seen this yet?

 

No, I haven't had any issues with my gas cap (warning light). When I re-fuel, I always tighten the cap 3 clicks, and I'm good to go.

If you are tightening more that 3 clicks every time and it's still coming on, then it's time to visit the dealer.
