the automated system says mine is "locked into production on 1/5 and will be built the week of 1/3....i am wanting to call customer service tomorrow to see when the ETA is...anyone have any ideas?

 

Built on the 13th. It's on a truck. Date is Jan 7 but, all the Ford people think the first of this week.

I pulled out my old stereo system, and put the stock (mach) stuff back in. I was unable to get the factory mach system working, so I have no stereo until the new girlfriend (car) gets here.

I ordered my 2005 GT on 10/15, 2nd one ordered from that dealer. Still no VIN number after talking to the dealer today. I live in New York, I wonder if the south are getting thiers first, nicer weather and all. What is this VOPC number everyone seems to be calling? If someone could post it, that would be great.

 

Dealer just called and said, "The bird has landed!" I leave work today at 3pm to get it FINALLY. Thanks to everyone on here who kept me going when the wait seemed forever. Pics will be posted later today!

 

I would think you should at least have a VIN by now. I've seen many people post that their October orders have been built and/or arrived.

I ordered about a month after you and still don't have a VIN. I tried calling the Ford customer service number but it seems there isn't much info you can get without a VIN.

 

Speaking of... minutes after hitting "Add Reply" my dealer called. I have a VIN number now... AND he says my car has already been built!

They don't have an arrival date, but he said it usually takes about two weeks.

Guess they are still building IUP orders.

 

If your cars been built u should have an ETA... They assign the ETA right after being built..

 

Yeah, I got to thinking about that after and decided to call the customer service number now I have a VIN. The sales guy made an assumtion that VIN = built. Ford said the build date/week is 1/17. Oh well... still not that far off.
