cheap stock GT bumper?
I just backed into a parked car this morning, by backing up before my rear defrost had done its job... (I don't deserve this car... )
Where can I find cheap takeoff rear bumper covers? http://www.ninosport.com/Rear-Bumper...&category=1503 has a good price ($159), but they charge $125 shipping! It's Alloy, if that matters.
Also, it's a pretty small scuff (1 square inch area total at most), so the replacement would have to be less scuffed than that (ideally not scuffed)
Thanks...

I always carry a soft cloth or towel in the trunk so that I can just pop the trunk. Wipe down the windows before I get in the car. This is very easy based on the accessability to the rear window. I highly recommend this before defrosting as it will save a lot of time and generally keeps you from not being able to see. Of course if the condensation on the rear window is a solid or ice this doesn't really apply but for a light layer of wetness it does the job.

Cloth: that's a good idea. I actually have an ice scraper that I've been using squeegie the window partially so I can see, but this morning I was lazy.

You might be surprised what a good body tech could do. Check with a paintless dent removal guy and most, at least in my area are now offering sprayless paint repair where they use a compound material and refinish areas such as yours. It is worth a shot.

Check into getting it fixed, it will probably be much cheaper than you'd think. You could even try Scratch X first to see how much of the light scuffing it gets rid of.
I got scratched about a year ago, still don't know how it happened, still haven't gotten it fixed, got so many rock chips now, might just get the whole car repainted. LOL!!

I looked again and the scuff is actually a patch abuot 0.25 in x 0.25 in that goes all the way down to the black plastic of the bumper. Then there's a 8-12" scratch connected to that making a perfect outline of a '93 saturn's wheel well. I only called for one estimate so far, and one guy quoted $200-250. It would have to be $100 for it to be worth it, because new takeoff bumpers cost $275 shipped.

Saleen is selling all their parts to vendors now. They gave me Diversified Marketing phone number which is www.newtakeoffs.com. I am kicking myself that I didn't order the extra set of wheels when they were $299 from Saleen!!!!!!

Ok, I'm done whining about the bumper. Since I have an Alloy, the black plastic of the bumper almost blends in with the car (the damage goes down to the plastic at the top/left of the scratch)... I'm just gonna live with this for at least this winter and hope somebody rear ends me.
Can't afford a $300 bumper for a baby scratch when I already will probably end up paying $300 for the parked saturn. (Or maybe $80 if I can find a blue-green driver side rear-quarter panel for a 93 Saturn SL1 Sedan that I wont need to paint.. ANYBODY??? )

For a set of 4! I have an 07 and they didn't have the TPMS bands. My Dad did get the whole Gt Body kit for $1200 that included front bumper, grille, foglights, sideskirts, rear bumper, mufflers and the set of wheels and tires. All for spares for my Mom's 05 Gt Vert! He has the money and the garge space to store the stuff. Since both our cars are black I could use any of the parts if something happened to mine as well.
