We all are obviously in love with our ponys!

But, does any have any issues with the build quality of the their stangs? If so, what are your concerns?

Also, does anybody else have the problem of the vinyl trim by the ceiling and the window coming down? Mine looks like it separating. MAybe take a look...how often does a guy look at the ceiling of his car!

talk about leaving yourself open! I'll be nice, this time, but there could be some "other" reasons Just kidding!

 

I have no issues so far with the interior although I do have one minor rattle in the dash. Overall I'm quite happy with mine.

 

No problems with the interior. I do feel like the paint chips/scratches easily and there is a strange rattle I hear on the freeway.

 

I think it all depends, without the IUP I think the interior looks plasticky and cheap, but with the IUP it looks cleaner and closer to the retro look Ford had obtained to accomplish. Just my .02 though.

I have had no problems other than I havent yet siliconed my UPR door plates down so when you shut the door sometimes they fall off

 

My seats' keep upholstry keeps coming loose underneath in both front seats (leather interior)... been to dealer three times, problem persists...

im god awful. i havent been witha girl since i was 11 and i bought the '05 in hopes of changing that but it loos like no dice. a week ago i was so close t hough, i had this girl in my car and we had the magic and everything, but then she put her grubby fingers on my window so i tossed her right out.

 

Only problem I am having is with the drivers seat. The leather wraps under and is just clipped on. It keeps coming unclipped so Ford order me a new seat

 

I think the plastic inside feels cheap and scuffs up easily. I take extremely good care of the car but still have a couple of places where the plastic is dinged. And I think the paint could have used a few more coats of clear, just my opinion. B)

You mean you do not keep gloves in the car for visitors?

 

I agree with Matt, the interior with IUP looks wicked, but the quality
of the vinyl, especially the vinyl around the cup holder and shifter, could be much better. For what you pay for the car, it should be a touch better! Looks, doesn't added up to quality!

 

I am also have a problem with the vinyl trim along the drivers' side door and window coming loose. It allows for a vibration on the front windshield. Also the fold in flap on the front seats continue to come apart. If the problems continue will Ford install new seats or is it something I live with?

I find the interior to be very good. I have had no problems with squeaks, rattles, things not holding together properly. The materials seem good for a car in this price range - plastics feel good and aren't shiney, metal touches, the carpet is okay.

The car feel tight, well fit and solid. I am happy with it.
