Hi guys, I thought you like to see these two mustangs pacecars of the Champcar series, I took this pics at Monterrey, Mexico this past weekend.

The first one is a GT/CS and the second is a nice GT.

yeah, the IRL and its pathetically ugly cars are horrible. Now that the biggest piece of **** on the planet (can you say Tony George) is not in control anymore of the IRL, hopefully things can return to the glory days of Champ Car. Weren't they suppose to announce the new car/engine package this past week? I dont believe I ever saw anything on it.

Did either of you all go to many races?? I went to Elkhart Lake one year (I think it was Michael Andretti's last win there) and to a race at the Gateway track in St. Louis. Never did make it to Indy...except when Formula 1 raced there in 2000.

I went to a handfull of races, and was a HUGE Andretti fan! I have several Andretti Champcar car parts, visors, etc. Some signed, some not.
It seems like there was pattern to the races I attended......Andretti would ALWAYS crash or break, and Paul Tracy would win......A guy I worked with was a Tracy fan so it was good rivelry for many years...of course every race he went to Andretti won. We thought about going to a race together, but never did. Probably for the better, did not want a collapse in the time space continuum.
I attended Mario's last race at Laguna, which was also Nigel's last race in Champcar, Saw Tracy race what I think was the best race of his career....Win from 17th starting position at Long Beach....wow what a race THAT was...The Toyota's were hitting 17k at the end of Shoreline Dr. Those, my friends, were the days!!!!!

Montreal, Toronto (in the 90's), Mt. Tremblant, Elkhart Lake (the year Katherine Legge had her massive shunt). Also really enjoyed all the Cleveland races on the tube.

 

sure hope they are right. now I'm really looking forward to the 14th.
