Has anybody noticed the area in the bottom of the center console lid? The one with the 2 clips to hold something? I'm not sure it this is just an '06 feature as I did not notice this on the '05 I rented.

The space is too small for CD's and these cars don't come with cassette players. Sunglasses, garage door openers (I tried both)? My wallet did fit somewhat Just courious.

Here's a shot with flash (car's in the garage)

This is the bottom side of the lid for the center console storage area.

Yes..I want to know too. I never noticed it. Also, what is the other weird stuff in there? Little box-like thing at the front of the box.

When people ask me if my car is fully loaded, I tell them "yes, it even came with a glove box full of ..........." (Forum rules prevent me from providing a more accurate description.)

it is to hold one of those small boxes of Kleanex instead of tossing it into the glove box

I like to put deposit slips and papers that are important at the moment, better than them being thrown around the cup holders and on the front seat

I use that to hold my clip-on sunglasses and an extra pack of Dentyne Ice Arctic Chill.
