does the cdc shaker add any hp to your car, and how much hp gets added? is it a pain in the hiney to install to?? thanks

 

Don't count on the shaker to add any HP... it just looks awesome!

Installation is a lot easier if you have a stock air intake system... it's more complicated if you use an aftermarket CAI. The scary part is cutting the hole in your hood. If you can manage that, then it's not hard... it just takes some time. I did a detailed write-up (with pics) when I installed mine 3 months ago (link below). I had one of the first units out there, so some of the issues I ran into (like elongating the holes on the mounting bracket) have now been changed by CDC.
