Well, I got home today and there was a BIG box sitting on my front doorstep. YES! My CDC Lightbar!! So I began to tearout the backseat of my car and 1.5 hour later, I was done. What do you think?

Awesome!! I'm glad you posted this, I just contacted CDC Friday and asked them a few questions about it, they sent me the instructions this morning in response. I've been wanting to see some 3/4 views of it, all they had on their web site was a straight-on side and rear view. Thanks for the pics! So did the installation go OK? Does it make it any tougher to enter the back seat? Does it create any blind spots from the driver's seat?

Looks great, is it in the way if someone wants to get in the backseat? How much? Was the install easy? Thanks

Thanks.

Considering that no one has riden in the back seat, yet. I didn't even think of considering that. But it does obstruct entry to the back seat a little. After driving it yesterday, the rear windows are obstructed a bit when the top is up, but no worse then putting louviers on a coupe.

ekessler507,
I dropped it off at the shop today to have the ducktail and scoops installed. I'm away on business next week and will post the interior shot (if I can get a good enough wide angle) after Memorial Day. Thanks for the compliments!!

Has anyone installed the CDC Lightbar on an ICAP Vert? I'd like to see a picture please.

This will be my first mod; then the sequencing (chase) tailight kit.

I like the bar too. But now you have 2 center brake lights. You need the CDC ducktail to cover the third brake light on your trunk.

When I emailed CDC and asked them if the lite bar would definitely fit the '06 GT Convertible, this is the response I got:

"Hello Mark,

It just so happens that we did our final fitment of the Light Bar on an '06 Mustang. Yes, it fit perfectly and yes, we do get vehicles directly from Ford.

Take a look at our web site for our line up of 2005 Mustang components including the Sequential Tail Light kit.

Now, someone tell me how they already got their hands on an '06 convertible!!!

I just got another email from Jeff Carroll. He explained that Ford loaned them an '06 for a couple days, so they were able to test the fit.

That's great news for everyone thinking of ordering a lite bar for the '06!
