Does the aftermarket roof have the pull shade to cover it from inside like the factory?

I plan on keeping this car as long as possible. Hopefully 300,000+ miles so, I'm not worried about resale value. Although I'm not sure resale value of an aftermarket glass roof would be any different than a hard top. Should be more in my opinion.

No, it does not have a pull shade. On hot days I have already noticed it gets hotter while sitting in the hot sun. 3 minutes of A/C riding down the road it cools off like any other car though.

If you are keeping it thats fine. Think about it this way, would you buy a 67 gt with a glass roof since it was not factory? Once you make perminemt changes you will never get what it's worth to you. I do like the look of it, it's just not something I would take a risk on.

Roof looks great! I plan on getting a Glassback eventually, and, like you, I plan to keep my car a very very long time. So resale is definately not an issue.

Doesn't seem any worst than any other mod. I don't think it'll hurt your value. It's not like those pop-up sunroofs from the 1970's! Keep your paperwork as I'd think you could retain some value for this.

No, I probably wouldn't buy a 67 Mustang with a glass roof but, I would buy a 2005 and up Mustang with one.....aftermarket or stock built.

How did you find a certified installer?

I guess they got popular again or something, because they the places around here want $3890 installed, that's with tax.

I'd do it for $2500. Hell, I'd drive to Maryland to get it done for that money. I'd save $1300.

I've looked at Classic Design Concept's website the pas 6 months or so and it appears they are not installing glass roofs on Mustangs any more. Only on Chrysler 300s. Would have to call to make sure though.
