Purely for looks let me tell you... I really like that intake cover to be honest, but I just dont feel carbon fiber belongs on this car... Unless it is completely painted, and unfortuantely with the weight and design of this car, that doesnt seem cost effective to me..

Carbon Fiber isnt bad looking, it just needs to be used properly. I have seen plenty of cars with carbon fiber trunks and hoods, that looked great. Unfortunately the only S197 that looked great with carbon fiber was the GT-R concept
