Car is going to failsafe alot.
My car keeps droping into failsafe mode. It isn't throwing any codes. The check money light isn't even coming on. I've got intake/exhaust, tune. I also got some new wheels/tires that were diff diameters. Would the wheels cause this? Would the tune? I'm guessing I've got a bad tune from my shop or something.

Throw the stock tune back on and see what happens.

You can run an aftermarket intake with a stock tune just as long as you don't drive it hard, under a heavy, sustained load. This depends on the intake of course, some don't require retune so that point is moot. C&L allows vehicle operation & stock tune with the caveat that you drive with a light foot. That is why I posted "try the stock tune". Make one change at a time.

I've seen cars with a CAI that wouldn't even start with a stock tune.

I guess technically he should pull the code first, but he should try that first. And/or get a new tune with less agressive timing to try.
I know the C&L, MMR & my JLT will run with a stock tune on my car, because I've done it. You can pick up a inexpensive code checker at your local auto parts store. You can get a lot of good info from one over time.

Mine ran about 10 mins. on the stock tune with the C&L intake. Threw 2 codes. Left bank lean- Right bank lean. I am sure every car is different.

I forgot to say I already did the stock tune thing. Last sunday was when the real failsafe problems started. I couldn't even get 10 ft on my aftermarket tunes. Then I put it on the stock tune and it ran fine for a few days (keeping my foot out of it) but it went back to failsafe again. Still no codes, no CEL. Maybe it's going to failsafe on the stock tune beacause of a lean condition? I know there's a code for that though.

When I had the C&L on my car it went into failsafe one night. I checked the intake tube and it was loose. I tightened it up, shut the car off and restarted it. No CEL and no failsafe.

Put back your stock airbox and stock tune and start from there.
I don't think I have heard about exhaust causing this, so this should be safe.
Go back to your tuner and run the car on the dyno with the tune and CAI to see what is actually going on.
Just my 2 cents.

Start from scratch. Drive it backwards back to the dealership. Then park it with the other Mustangs. Get out, walk around it, kick the tires. Get back in and drive it off the lot. Should be ok after that.
Ok I cleaned everything and drove it again. Went to failsafe but this time it turned on the CEL light and threw a code. P2106, a TPS sensor code. I think this has to do with TSB 05-14-4. I called up some dealers and they don't seem to have a clue what I'm talking about related to this TSB. The part number doesn't even exist for them! WTF is going on?
