Car cover for garage storage?

I'm looking for some recommendations for a car cover. I plan to garage my new convertible Stang, but thought it would be a good idea to keep a car cover on it simply to keep off dust and debris. I'll definitely want to cover it for winter storage. I'll also probably want to keep it covered if I'm not driving it for a few days.

It doesn't need to be waterproof. I just want something that won't mar the paint and will keep off the dust. Any recommendations?

Look to FORD. They do offer "Dust" cover's. Just make sure that the material can Breathe, whomever you decide to go with. California Covers offers the also. I'm sure there are many out there. I use the FORD Dust Cover's on all my rides I have stored.

Do a search for CoverCraft or CoverKing car covers... lots of distributors/retailers. Also, try CarCoverDirect.com.. good prices and custom fit to any model.

Forgot the "s". It's "CarCoversDirect.com". Click on "custom fit" link, and select year/make/model...

I bought a Coverkind semi custom on line from AJ USA for about $90 delivered. I'm happy with the quality and fit, and the best part is it doesn't leave any lint on my vert's cloth top. The attached pic was the first install after it came out of the box so it's a bit wrinkled.

Quarter,

As Bob said, his doesn't leave lint on the cloth top. My California Car Cover Plush Weave does....even after I washed it.

Bob, that's a great deal for $90. I may end up picking up one of those and selling my current one.

I have a Wolf one that I got at a local speed shop which works out really well. It's not super heavy duty, but it is thicker than your average "dust" cover.

When you do decide on one, make sure anytime you cover the car that the cover and the car is clean to prevent scrathing, and dont forget to prep the car for winter storage ie. stabilizing the fuel, and disconnecting your battery.

I actually didn't mean it that way. I just thought of putting something different than just plain ol' "Daily Driver."

To me the King of the Road actually is the Viper.

LOL. I have the impossible challenge of figuring out how to save up for a 450-510 hp car to go with my Mustang after it's paid off. I wonder what it could be?

Anyway we better get back on topic before the mods close this thread.

Yeah I really like the Wolf one I have. It's on my baby now as a matter of fact. (Winter Blows)

I am going to get one of these

I am going to get a car capsule. It is like a force field that protects your car from dust, dirt, moisture, insects, rats, mice and even the most dangerous threat to your car "KIDS" It has a fan and filter that equilize the air and keeps it at the right humidity that prevents rust, mold and mildew. When it is inflated it can deflect a 5 pound sledge hammer when it is dropped on it. This thing is like the force field that kept darth vader from bombing Hoth in star wars. It costs about as much as an expensive car cover.
