Car Contest - SEMI FINALS!
Hi,
As I mentioned before, my car (2006 Mustang GT) has been selected along with 26 others out of over 460,000 total cars on the Car Domain web site to compete in a contest sponsored by Castrol. Just for being selected, I already win a t-shirt and Castrol “goodie bag”. In the first round, 9 groups of 3 cars competed and my car won in it's group thanks to your support! For that round win, I won $200 to spend at the Car Domain web store and THIS WEEK I am in a semi-final round. The 9 semi-finalists will be voted in the next 3 weeks, for an additional $500. The winner of the final 3 will win $2,500 cash!
Voting actually started YESTERDAY and I missed it. You can vote 1 time per day, all week, from each PC, no login required. If you would, please go to this web site and vote once per day that you can. http://www.cardomain.com/features/castrol_minisite_contest_wk00
Click on the green "Vote Now" button, then click the circle next to "Joe's Ford Mustang" and click the "VOTE" button. The second day when you go to vote from the same PC, you will get a message that says you have voted from this PC. Click on the button below that, it says continue to vote or something like that. Then you will be able to vote again. Voting for each week starts on Monday and ends Sunday. Thanks for your support! Wish me luck! The voting is very competitive and the only way I can win is with the support from everyone.

No doubt the competition is MUCH tougher this round. The good news is Ford did it right! They built a car that the average person can afford and is very customizable. Along with the huge interest in the car partially because of its affordability, comes huge aftermarket support. With all the parts available for our car, there are just so many things you can do with it. I look at other cars on here and get jealous. Sometimes I wish I could have several Mustangs and all would be different. So now this week's competition is down to 2 exotics and my Mustang. My first instinct would be that people would vote for an exotic because they are more rare and harder to obtain ($). My hope is that the large support for Mustangs will pull me through. I see so many great looking cars on here I feel like I'm representing many of us in the competition. Thanks again for the votes and comments! -Joe

Today is the last day to vote in the semi-final round! If you get the chance, swing by and vote again. They said you could vote once per day from each PC. If you get the message that you already voted, just click the button to vote again. Thanks again for all your support! -Joe
