want to start modding my stang its a 2006 pony v6 auto
already installed dual exhaust with gt take off mufflers and h-pipe
now it time for cai and tunes but i cant find the label with the 4 digit code anywhere i had the ecm totally out of my car today no label to be found anywhere the only label i found was with the ecm ser# and ford part number.but i did discover something though with all these numbers on the ser#tag heres what my tag looks like:

BSZ1 pcm 170F 6R3A-12A650-BB
UK2R3604 S/N XXXXXXXXXXXX
EE0FA-5L233
could the upper left hand # be my ecm code??(BSZ1)?
did ford quit using the little 4 digit label and include it on the larger s/n label?? thanks in advance for ur help

 

Give a shout to Brent over at Brenspeed tomorrow with the numbers you have listed. If you have the PCM code there he will recognize it.

 

BSZ1 is the ECM (processor) code. I'm not sure where they put them previous to the 2005 Mustang, but the ECM code is on the back of the ECM now.

 

so the ECM (processor code) is the one i need to order my tuner than???

 

i couldnt find mine either so i just bought the x cal from brenspeed they sent it then i downloaded my stategy code gave it to them over the phone and the e mailed me my tunes works fine ever since.its really very simple to download tunes from your email
