i just wanted to know if i can install a cdc shaker on a vortech(centrifugal) supercharged engine......

 

if it is a vortech style then yes you can, but i highly recommend the Fang Performance or the Cervinis kit both include a pre-cut hood with the scoop

 

Yep you sure can. You don't need to buy a complete hood- just buy the CDC shaker if you want and cut your factory hood- it's easy. Here is a pic of the shaker and blower combo:

Where does the air from the shaker actually go in this setup? The Vortech eliminates any airbox, correct?

 

The air from the shaker goes straight out the back of the scoop since the ducting has been removed. Not really a big deal since the Shaker is 99% cosmetic.

even though that is the procharger kit a vortech will still fit and the filter will be in the perfect spot for the ducting on the hood
