My California Duster leaves streaks of some sort of residue on my car. Anyone know why?

The duster has paraffin wax on it. Thats how it traps the dust. If you use it on a hot car you may see some streaks from the wax. I also would not use it on an extremely dusty car. I would only use it if the car had a small amount of dust on it and the car has not been sitting in the sun. If the car has alot of dust on it you might scratch the paint.

Mine does the same thing hot or cold, it's much easier to notice on black.

Yes, it's just little bits of paraffin wax. Just use your favorite wiping cloth to go over it and those little streaks will be gone.

If the car was really dusty, then use some detail spray as well.

It also help's to wrap your duster in new's paper from time to time for a couple day's. It soak's up the extra wax...I must go through gallons of detailer spray. :bang: Black... :bang:
