CAI and Tune

Hey Hey Everyone, just a quick question i was wondering. Im looking at getting said item above, CAI and Tune, but when i look at the tunes they offer they always seem to offer 91 or 93 Race/performance, but in my area they only offer 92 octane, what do i do in thie situation? thanks

I can make you a tune for 92 octane. General rule of thumb... take the 91 octane tune, and add a degree of spark to compensate for the octane level. Which intake were you looking for?

I can do the JLT/SCT Xcal2 with 3 tunes for $549 and the C&L "Racer"/SCT XCal2 for $625.

Tillman got it right. I drove from WI to CO with my 93 Octane tune and took out 2 degrees to run on 91 and had no issues at WOT. I bought a C&L Racer w/DiabloSport Tuner and UDP for just under $600. I did however buy from a source house, and didn't get any support. If you have little experience or feel like you would prefer having a live person to assist, call Tillman.

Your issue is not an issue with the top "tuners"...

The tune wounldn't be an issue there are lots of them out there who will be glad to answer your questions, do a little research and go with the tuner who makes you most comfortable. Good luck!

Absolutely no problem! Thanks for the great replies...

Anyway, JebusGT, no matter where you go just make sure that you're given an actual phone number for customer service. But as stated above, you wont have a need for that number if you go with the right outfit.

Good luck!

It's always tempting. I have been known to pull the trigger on mods a little too early financially myself!
