Bye-bye Mustang!

Well, it's been a little over 3 years of great fun, pride and passion, but the time has come to change the car (my one-and-only, the daily driver). I am now at a point in my life where I need a bigger, more comfortable and more economical car, so this week I signed the papers and paid the 10% advance for a brand-new Volvo XC60 D5, which should arrive around mid-January. I'll drop the Mustang at the dealers just before I leave for Xmas holidays and I'll pick up the new car when I return. In the mean time I'll prepare the Mustang for the exchange and baby it as much as possible.

The time I spent on TMS was great too. I got to meet probably the best community of Mustang fans, I learned a lot and got a lot of help when I needed it. For this I'd like to thank all of you guys and especially the TMS team.
I'll sneak a peak every now and then, but I won't be posting as much anymore. Bye (for now), but I'll be back for the launch of the MY2011

P.S.: funny how FoMoCo and Volvo also made it possible for me to post the best "farewell" photo, with this (very symbolic, for me) pic of a black Mustang fading away while an XC60 just like the one I ordered takes its place:

A 94 GT was my daily driver (and college commuter - 270 miles each way for many weekends!!!) and I understand where you're coming from.

I drive a Toyota Tundra crewmax to work for the most part, with the OPTION - not necessity - of driving the Mustang

<-- doesn't see how that's possible.

You'll be back. You know you will.
