I have a build week of November 28th, with a build day of 11/30. I AM excited and it can't come soon enough.

Anyone else have the same build week?

Im scheduled that week, locked in 12/1, ETA 12/6.

word of caution about the wait- my first car disappeared at 'the ramp' for almost a week before shipping, and that week sucked worse that all the wait combined. When it finally left the ramp, it was delivered THAT day, they called me when the truck came in, I headed down to get it, but the hauler f'd it up unloading.
The next one will get here when it gets here, still excited, but not obsessed about it like that first one.
Word from Kzinti was 1-3 weeks typical for delivery, think #1 took 8 days- 7 of which it sat 'at the ramp'. Wouldnt it be great if Ford would just let you go get it yourself? maybe even get to see it roll off the line...that would be pretty neat.

 

just curious- as far as that week goes, who ordered what? wonder if similar colors ,etc, run at the same time?

mines vista blue GT deluxe, black cloth, stick, int sport appearance package the only option. Identical twin to first order- but ford's giving it a 5 yr warranty for my trouble(would have rather had 6 weeks of nice weather)

btw- looked up car#1- it was scheduled for 10/6 week, ETA week of 10/14

dealer got it 10/18
what sucked most was not even getting a test drive after all this bullpoo.
10/20 it was on its way back
guess the shipper owns it, they gotta fix it and send to auction w/disclosure- its probably got a new owner already.

 

well, my birthday is november 28th, so you KNOW good things are built then!!

congrats on almost having your cars! it's worth the wait!

 

My B-Day is November 28th too and that is the build date of my car as well . I don't think my car could be shipped much further in the 48 states from Michigan ... it's going to San Diego. Man can hardly wait.

 

Ms ERL told us this wkend that our ETA was changed from 12/13 to 12/20. :bang: wanted it for b-day 12/18.

anyone else get a delayed ETA date?

 

I got bumped from 12/6 to 12/13 for ETA, but build only changed from 12-1 to 12-2...think this means shipper problems.hope I get a different guy this time ...

 

maybe getting bumped does have to do with shipping issues. everything else like build week and build day remains the same. only change was the ETA.

Build week 11/28 owners - can i get an update of where your stang stands? What delays are you experiencing and where are your stangs being shipped (your state)?

 

As of last night, ERL says still 'as of 12/2 build week of 11/28 ETA wk of 12/13'. Kzinti still dont show it popped as of yesterday, but last time my confirmation was tuesday for friday build(if I remember right).

I did notice that all the cars I saw blended within a week of thanksgiving were not built the normal 7 days later- more like 9...sooo I'm *assuming* that my 12/2 build will actually happen 12/5~12/6 and wont know for certain till 12/7~12/8, but you just never know...a couple months ago I saw a few that disappeared at the factory for a month before gate release(heard some QC issue had to be inspected before release), last time my car fell off the radar for a full week at 'the ramp', so its easier just to realize itwill get here when it does. Although it still dont stop me from looking for it.

 

as of yesterday:

built, shipped on 11/30 and ETA @ Barber Ford in Ventura, Ca 12/12.....

 

Just got word from Kzinti-

Saturday 12/3 it rolled off the line...only a day behind schedule

Congrats SyNRG!!!! i let my dealer know it is hovering around outside of philly, but still waiting for our call from dealer. he said he would put a 'HOT' on it, so it wouldn't sit around at the yard.
