BUILD SHEET LOCATION
Does anyone know where the assembly line is hiding the buildsheet for our Mustangs? I recently found the one for my '96 Taurus, or what was left of it, on top of the gas tank when I replaced it. My salesman did not have it in the paperwork and I checked under the seats and trunk area.
It's hard to say where they are hiding them now, I found the one
for my '88 under the front bumper, but well past it's prime so to
speak. It would be nice to know where they are, and be able to
get them before the weather does. If you find the answer keep
us posted.

Thanks for the info so far. I have found that ( www.mustanghut.com ) has blank window stickers and build sheets for up to 1973.
Update : I just found on another forum that someone located their sheet under a spring on the passenger seat. My car is stored with that side next to a wall, so I will have to wait a while before I can move it to check. Nothing under the spare, or dash and seat on my driver's side. I sent a PM as earlier suggested and haven't received a reply yet. I also tried to call a phone # that I found, that's supposed to for a production line supervisor, but it's for a fax.

Well From doing PDI's on some of the 05's not just mustangs but all others. i have been looking at build sheets found in the vehicles. They seem to me placed on the floor or glove box so unless it got shoved under the seat it might already been thrown out when it was cleaned up
I will be doing the PDI on mine when it arrives, so hope it is all intacted

He meant that you didn't add anything to the thread.
Which is kind of funny, since his post didn't either. In fact, I've yet to see a post of his that wasn't correcting spelling, trying to come up with a funny retort, or just being stupid. At least when I post I kind of know what I'm talking about.

This time I agree with you.
I like this board, it's just irritating seeing fellow Mustang entusiasts getting 'picked on' for stupid little stuff. It really detracts from everyone's enjoyment and the usefulness of this board. People don't need to act like know-it-all tough guys from behind a computer keyboard. I just wish a certain few would knock it off for everyone's sake.
