Talked to my dealer today (Friday March 11) and he said that my order has moved into the number one spot to be pulled next, meaning probably the next two weeks (fingers crossed). Anyways, I asked what that corresponds to in a possible build date, and he said it could be built the week it's pulled or built 3 weeks later, depends on commodities.

From what I have learned from this very informative forum is that you are scheduled for the next available build week, most likely a couple weeks away.

Anyone have any input on when a car is pulled and the possibility of it receiving a build date in the following week???

 

Based on some of the posts in the forum about getting pulled and getting a build date, they seem to be as far as 3 to 4 weeks into the future.

 

hey u ordered 1/11 i ordered 1/18. ur gonna get pulled before me and probably some people who ordered in feb will be pulled before me too. it sux. maybe im being alittle bias and one sided but this is so rediculous

 

Yeah, I hear ya on the ridiculous of this whole thing. I was 14th in line to be pulled when i put it in, and slowly but surely made my way down the path to next to be pulled.

Hard to be patient for this awesome ride.

 

haha ive been next for a long time. i donno what to expect. i called customer service they said i should have something by week 10. im entering week 8 on tuesday. then thursday will roll around and ill keep waiting for the next few thursdays to get pulled. im thinking by next week if theres no pull or any info by next week im gonna get really angry

 

Last weeks pulls were for 03/28/2005 production, I believe this weeks are for the week after.

 

Mine was pulled last week. Build week is April 4th.

The most frustrating thing is seeing people who ordered in January picking up there cars!! :bang:

I'm just hoping it gets built that week and not pushed back like some have been. We shall see!!

What dealership did you order from? I ordered 1/2/05 and there were 17 ahead of me. As of today there are still 11 ahead of me. :notnice: I was hoping for a late April delivery but that isn't going to happen. At this rate it looks like the middle of summer, or even an 06. My dealer has pretty good allocation but I am in the Northeast unfortunately, it looks like we're still not getting our fair share of GTs.

I ordered from a dealer here in Delaware where I attend college. Winner Ford in Newark, Delaware to be specific. They have a steady traffic of Mustangs coming in so I assume their allocation is pretty good. I was "told" 3 months wait, but never can rely on that, especially with this car. So after exactly two months, I am next to be pulled (hopefully on Friday) and the wait continues......

They must have good allocation if you were 14th on 1/11 and are now first. I wish my dealer moved that many, I'd be 3rd instead of 11th. It looks like 3 months is going to be just about right for you. Good luck on Friday!
