Build Date or Build Week?

I am currently the newest member. I have an Vista Blue 06 GT Premium on order (Since July 6th) and I just received my "Build Date." 
Is this more of a "Build Week" or is this the actual day they will build my car? I've also noticed the time frame between build dates and delivery dates is usually no more that 10 days. Does that sound about right? It's great to have a VIN#, though. It's almost real!

When you are given a build date it is usually a Monday and it means that the vehicle will be built during the week of...
Once produced it is released to shipping and can take anywhere form a week to 4 weeks depending on the part of the country you are in, rail car availability, etc.
