Brembo wheels on a 06 GT?
Brembo wheels on a 06 GT?
Just bought a set of brembo wheels for my 06 mustang GT and the tires a friend is giving me is a 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 my question is well this look ok? I'm not lowered but well be in a few months. Thanks for the input the tires are a bridgestone potenza
I have those on my 06. yeah the tire size on all four should be 255 40 19. that's stock p zero for the brembos. but what i have now is 275 35 19 on the rear, and 275 30 19 on the front. but that's if the car is dropped. you should be fine, your fronts are just skinnier. but the space between the tire and car is kind of big. I know because my car isn't dropped. the definite right size for the rears is 275 40 19 if your car isn't dropped. you should go with the hankook evo 12s if you go 275 40 19. and just move the 275 35 19s up front. it'll work but the correct stock size is 255 40 19 on all four wheels. but if I had money I would put 255 40 19 on the fronts and 275 40 19s on the rear. if not go 255 40 all the way around to be able to rotate them. but to completely answer your question, those are correct-ish sizes. you'll be fine. I haven't tried 275 40 19 on the front yet.

those are the ones that come stock on the 2011. 255 40 19

See the tires stock in the back have a lot of space, so make it wider by putting the 275 40 19s on the rear. btdub, the car is for sale. 60k miles with mods.

555s. invos have a really soft sidewall. it's not as stable in a turn. 555s and don't look back. they're just as quiet. and they'll make you think your car can handle amazingly. oh crap. sorry but i don't think they make 555s of invos in the 275 40 19 size. that's why I said hankooks because i have 555s right now and couldn't find them in 275 40 19s so I chose its equal the evo 12. That's what I'm gonna go with because they only make the 555s and invos in 275 35 19. the evo 12s are just as soft and they're directional tires. they're essentially 555s.

275's are going to be pushing it on those wheels. I believe the Brembo wheels are 8.5" wide, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I have 275's on my 9.5" wheels. You might be ok on the rears, but I wouldn't take corners too hard.

275 will work fine. it's the height you have to worry about. 275 35 19s will work up front, but that's why I said I don't know about the 275 40 19s and the 275s line up right with the rim. they don't bend outward or too wide if that's what your referring to. 275s fit perfect on there.
