Only a handful of people know this, but I guess it's time to make it public.

I ordered a Satin Silver 2005 Mustang V6 Coupe with IUP and 5-speed manual transmission (without Exterior Sport Appearance Package and rear spoiler) earlier this year. I had several companies verbally commit to providing the following modifications free of charge or at a substanial discount:
  • Shaker Hood Scoop - Classic Design Concepts
  • Classic Hood - Classic Design Concepts
  • Custom One-of-a-Kind Grille - Classic Design Concepts
  • Front Bumper - Team Xenon
  • QuickLIFT Hydraulic Hood Struts - Redline Tuning
  • 18 x 9.5" Billet Magnum 500 Wheels - Wheel Vintiques
  • Sequential Rear Turn Signals - Web Electric Products
  • Decklid Blackout Panel - Team Xenon
  • Lowering Springs - Steeda
  • Control Arm Relocation Kit - Steeda
  • Short-Throw Shifter - Steeda
  • Headers - JBA Headers
  • Dual Exhaust - JBA Headers
  • GT Takeoff Rear Bumper - Saleen
  • GT Takeoff Rocker Panels - Saleen
  • Billet Interior Accessories - UPR Products
  • Vinyl Door Sill Letters - Ninosport
  • Quarter Window Louvers - Hadn't asked anyone yet
Chuck (Blip) did an awesome rendering of the car; I'll see if I can find it and post it here.

The car arrived in late March, but when decision time came I just couldn't give up my V8 ragtop for a V6 coupe and they sold my car to someone else. I'm still enjoying my '01 GT convertible, especially now as it warms up here in the South. I can't wait to see how Tungsten looks on a 2006 GT ragtop with IUP though.

I figured you weren't gonna get a new car for awhile. Your 2001 is still young!

(Woulda liked to see that V6 with all those mods, though.)

Wow. Those would have been some nice mods. I can see how you didnt give up your GT though as I thinks it is beautiful and I am sure tons of fun with the top down. I dont want to see the tungsten because I am afraid I will like it more than my satin silver. Well I hope everything works out with whatever car/color you go with.

By the way love those louvers and wheels.

So there is a company out there that makes a shaker hood for the V6?

If so that would be my first mod along with a chin spoiler.

He was getting a V6. He let it go to someone else and has changed to an '06 GT vert.
