I think Ford dealers should call US with updates (once you've ordered)... they know how much we want the car! The only valid excuse would be that they are so swamped with work (yeah right) that they don't have time.

I say, if they made the time they really would become too busy to call every buyer!
Can you imagine the amount of over head it would take to do that on every Mustang that was ordered. Along with all the other orders they take for other cars. Just tack on another 5G's to cost of the car. The real key is has a dealer that at the top of their game. They keep you informed, calling you at a set schedule. And yes I did order, and my dealer was all over it.

.....well now this has happend twice now 2 days ago i found a black V6 IUP, Dk charcoal bucket seats, auto, ex-sport app. package. And the car my dad has been calling about getting numbers....getting close to buying it for me and some baught it today when my dad called them and we could go in there for a final look the salesman said it was gone  is it just me or is my luck always running out on the 05 mustang?? im starting to think that i really really am......

You should be happy daddy at 16 has agreed to buy you a new Mustang (and you will find a V6, pretty much a piece of cake...a GT is much tougher to get these days...).
When I was 16 if I had asked my father to buy me a car, I am sure he would have started loading a shotgun and I would better run fast.
You might have to wait for a few more days, but then your father will find and buy you your Mustang...Relax kid...

I am very lucky to have parents like mine that help me out with my most fav.car in the world. I do not like people saying "daddy or "mommy" becuase I know its sarcastic. I have worked very hard from school and summer work, I am paying about 2,000 for this car its not alot but im helping. So i would like it if there were no more smart remarks about this whole ordeal.

Trust me, Nate, this "whole ordeal" is anything but an ordeal: life will put much bigger obstacles in your path sooner or later, this is nothing.
It might seem this huge because you are a young kid, but it isn't.

You are indeed very lucky to have parents that will buy you such a nice car for you at your age, I hope you will repay them back by being a responsible young man.

Last but not least, people are entitled to express their opinions and this shouldn't bother: take it like a man.

Good luck for your V6.

I couldn't have said it any better. Thank you Alfio for posting my exact sentiments on this subject. Nate, as you go through the trials and tribulations of society as we live in today, not getting what you want, when you want, at the young age of sixteen, will not leave a lasting impression in your mind. All good things come to those who wait. Most of us on this forum waited five months for our Mustangs to reach us, but when they arrived, oh what a joy. Keep searching for your car, and you will find one before too long. If they are sold off the lot before you get to it, no big deal, look for another. It's all part of the hunt. If you happen to talk to a sales person who is rude, you have the choice to ask for a different one. Good luck in your quest for a new car. There will be one out there for you.
Jack

Boo hoo hoo! My daddy is buying me a car, but I can't have it right now. I must be the unluckiest boy in the whole wide world!

C'mon guys. Let's chip in and buy him a car and resolve this case of child abuse. And let's make it a convertible to make it up to the little whipper snapper!

Are you sure you're 16? Usually by that age kids have learned to spell "year." Also, ask daddy to fill you in on the wonders of punctuation.

Nate and all the young 16 year olds in this forum I have some advice for you from a 30 year old like myself. If you have parents that are buying you a car do not mention that they are buying it for you on this forum because there are some people in here that will flame you on this. I have learned to not tell people everything so I can avoid things like this. It is no ones business who is buying your car, heck say you are buying it.

Nate that is great that you are contributing $2,000 it shows that you do appreciate your parents. If you plan on going to college you will need to appreciate your parents even more. Do not take everything on this forum seriously, laugh it off and have fun with it. Enjoy the hunt for your car it will be in your hands before you know it. Whatever you do, do not abuse your stang.
