Boss/ Mach 1 tribute
Boss/ Mach 1 tribute
Well I have been trying to go for the mach 1/boss look for a long time now, I am almost there, only problem is I decided to put on a CDC ducktail 2 years ago. I thought of taking it off and filling the holes and adding a stock wing, and also thought about putting on cervinis type II ducktail and pedestal wing, but I think I found a cheap and efficient way to get the look I want, but wanted opinion. I found a car that has most of my mods( shaker hood, louvers, cdc ducktail) what they did was add the cdc ducktail to a trunk with a stock wing and it actually looks pretty cool, tell me what you think.

yuck
Moels, I totally agree with you, but my problem is, I already have the CDC ducktail on, and in order for me to achieve the look you have" which is great!" I would need to spend close to $1,000 for taking off the ducktail, plugging all 8 holes, then painting the trunk, then painting and installing a new spoiler, so you see its one big headache. Doing it the way I suggested gives the car, what I think is a really good luck, for about 100.00, just the price to paint and install my spoiler. It is all economics, and I think the ducktail and stock wing look very good together, its almost as if the ducktail is just an extention of my trunk.

I really like the ducktail spoilers alot, any thought on just painting the one you and have and sticking with just the ducktail?
Well the ducktail is painted an on, have had it on for over 2 years, was going for the shelby look, but now have decided I would like to build a boss, so the I need the matte black spoiler. I think it looks really cool and it is my best option.
Did you post any pics of your car or did I just miss them? Thanks.
No i havent posted any pics of my car in this thread, but here I will give you some, and just imagine that black spoiler added to it.
