I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on these? Does anyone have one on there Mustang? If so what kind and what do they like or dislike about it?

Im intrested in finding one for my 2006 so I have a shorter warm up time and less wear and tear on the motor.

They may be standard in Canada, but not in Texas. Nope. Don't have one. Don't need one. Don't want one.

John,

Block heaters are standard on all Ford cars in Canada, I believe that to be the case with GM and Chrysler products as well.

I've never used it myself, it doesn't get cold enough to warrant it here. There are areas in the far north who definitely need a block heater in the winters.
