Look what I ran into the other day.

Nothing special though... I live in the Detroit area... so I usually see a new Mustang about once a week. Niceset one I've seen yet was a black GT with the interior upgrade package... it had nice red leather interior... which looked great.

I always try and keep my camera on me... if I get any more shots I'll post them up.

Anyway, enjoy.

Question: Will the GT's also have the antenna up on the front passenger fender also? Is it a powered antenna?

I hate antennas!! :notnice:

Great picture!

And, I also agree. I wish Ford would either go powered antenna, integrated into window somewhere. Ah well, still beautiful either way!

You do NOT want a window antenna. I have one on the olds, and it picks up zip. Very limited range, and one of the reasons(aside from CC radio which stinks) I went Xm. Gives a clean car line, but doesn't work worth a dang.

I just struck a DEAL!!!!!!!!!

We take the restoration project and sell it for the orange gt money
Hubby gets it...

I get a black v6 with white stripes and red leather.

It took me since I was 18 to convince him a mustang rocks..........but now he's hooked too.

Olds is not generally known for a quality product (If I had it to do over). I have spent three mustangs putting it back together, and the sad thing is I didn't break the things that broke.
30 miles out of Birmingham, you lose stations no matter what. I thought the window antenna looked cool until I got one.

Ford engineer I talked to said they tried the hidden window antenna and it had bad mediocre AM reception. AM sports radio reception in Detroit is apparently important for middle aged Ford male engineers.

The V6's look like a good candidate for sleeper Mustangs. With the 4.0L engine making it into the Mustang, some power adders will quickly allow the V6 to pass up a standard GT Mustangs 300hp.
