black ford racing gt500 wheels

black ford racing gt500 wheels
Heyy everyone, today i was about to order my wheels from american racing, the black machined 18 inch gt500 wheels for $ 170 a piece. Then,
i came across this from ford racing part's website.

Apparently, they are "Same as production 2007 Mustang GT500 except wheel openings are gloss black". But for some odd reason, they are $224 dollars compared to the stock gt500 wheels that are $300 dollars on the website. So i called up my dealer who can always cut me a deal, and he said he can get those black gt500's for $175. I'm guessing the "wheel openings are gloss black" part indicates the same thing as the american racing gt500 wheels. Am i missing something here? Because I'd surely want the ford brand wheels for roughly the same price. What do you guys think?

In the 07 FRPP catalog, those wheels are only black on the insides of the spokes ( the sides facing the base of the rims ). They still have an aluminum facing that you see when veiwing it straight on.
