The 70-73 vintage mach 1 had the honey comb plastic between the rear tail lights. I wonder how the new GT would look with either that or a flatblack/semi gloss tape strip from tail light to tail light and vertically the height of the tail light?

 

I agree - I think there are a lot of styling ques that can improve the 05, but I am rather partial to the Mach 1s. See my naked hood post...

The pics I have seen of the 05 with dual hood stripes get my attention too.

 

My favorite is the Mach 1. owned a 73 w ram air and a 78. Sold the 73 2 years ago for 20K. Almost an even trade for a GT. Love those Mach's.

 

Ah yes, I had a 69 Mach years ago, and will again one day.
