Well, I wanted a torch red mustang. Then I realized.....Red, its the color of the Huskers. How did I even think that I should get a red car, how would I live with myself? With that said, anyone have good pics of a black 05 V6? I have seen some on ebay, but the V6 model just seems to look odd to me without the foglights. Anyone feel the same?

 

If you want to see a black GT, call Lakewood Ford. A week ago they had one in their showroom.

 

Not to mention the color of U of Georgia. Yuck

 

In the short term black is a pain to keep clean but in the long run Red will oxidize. I will probably never buy another red car. I have had three and after a few years all of them began oxidizing.

 

I'm a Bama grad and drive a dark blue car. At least it's not orange.

Hehe. Ask my 2 1/2 year old daughter what an elephant says, she'll raise her arms up and then throw them down with a 'Roll Tide'. I'm not joking either. I can thank the wife for teaching her that one almost a year ago. There's no way the wife would accept an orange car. In fact, I think she's looking at redfire as a sort of crimson color.

I agree no Orange! (Go Blue!) I hated that special Orange (Tangerine) color on the Mustangs a few years ago. A guy here at work has one with a big "T" license plate. Ugh. Of course, he doesn't have many friends here in Big Blue Country! Even though Red is Louisville, I still like red though.

 

Basecoat with clear will not oxidize, enamels with no clear will however.

 

What about gold?

Red is my color and OMG it's the color of the buckeyes. I wish Ford had a two tone maze and blue.

 

That makes Auburn the next naional champions,but Tenessee is still the best in my world.
