Are the pics uploaded somewhere that you need a password to get to them?

If you resize them to under 200k you can just upload them.

Stad!! I'm sorry I missed you!! I was guarding the car when my husband was out taking pictures.

Now, I will admit that the new Mustang is a cool car...... but I was not really emotionally moved by it. Could it be that I have been tracking the progress of this car since the first conception photos were released and I'm somewhat let down? Maybe!!
I honestly couldn't remember which car you had at the Stampede, I was going to say something had I remembered!

My opinions and thoughts aren't too far from your own. I wasn't blown away by the Stang like I thought I would first time I saw it in person. The biggest reason for this, is as a whole automakers just use crap components. Everything these days are plastic. I long for the days where metal was actually used. The new Mustang is however light years ahead of any Mustang made after the mid-70's as far as appearence is concerned.

Personally I've hated to 95 Mustang style (which is cliche to every other car made during this era). At least the 05 Stang goes backs to it's roots but with a modern (maybe to modern) spin. I will still most certainly buy one, as I have never owned a Mustang myself. If I had the know how to repair, and upgrade a 60's Mustang myself I'd get one, but alas I do not.

I wouldn't have any problem paying another $1,000 to $2,500 to have higher quality materials used in the Mustang which would make a world of difference to this car.

Am I more dissappointed then happy? Not really, I love the car's design and it will be the talk of the town when it gets out. Could it have been more? Yes, much more.

One other thing... I keep going back in my mind and it seems to me (of my first thoughts) that they designed a lot of aspects on the car to be a little bit too big. Of course I like smaller, sleek lines and shapes.

Not a big deal, but it just seemed like various components on the car are a bit oversized.

Recently a member posted that he or she was able to test drive the 350zx rx8 and a 05 mustang. I did drive the 350z and must disagree with the statements about the 350 z's interior. It was very generic and "plastic-ee". It is not fair to compare the Mustang to the 350z because they occupy different market segments. THe 350z type cars are designed to be low to the ground, smaller engine, forget about a decent back seat, or one at all type car.

Where the mustang is more of a Bigger looking car, monster motor, enthusiast driven, almost a modern day GTO type car. The mustang is in fact more GTO than the 05 GTO which must be based on a cavilier chassis because my 13 lb chi wa wa can not fit in it!

Last thing to fellow mustang fans/alumnus, put the 05 next to any of these fly by night sport cars and see which one you think would win in a throw down!

peace out

Almost forgot... In the monthly magazine that Ford sends out to all it's new car buyers they have a picture of the new King Cobra Prototype. I will have it scanned and uploaded by the end of the day.

Like the 05 Mustang, the King Cobra went back to it's roots and looks like it's race car beginings.
