Released on 11/11/04
to be deliveried week of 11/17/04

We'll see, but darn they are moving right along!

Nice......under 8 weeks. I was told 6-8 when I ordered mine on 10/25 and from what I know now makes that painfullly funny; you have given me hope that Santa may deliver mine.

 

I ordered mine (05 Mustang GT-Premium) on 10/20, and he told me my car's build date was 10/27, and the car will be here in mid December.

The funny thing is that when I called Ford on 11/4 after I picked up my DORA and they said the car is on a Temp Delay, and as of yesterday the status hasn't changed.

And yes, I ordered the IUP as one of my options,

Now I am worried, mine was ordered on 10/25 and I have not gotten a build date. When I call the VOPC number Ford has for automated updates (I think it is an internal number that I happened upon) it states that the order is "Clean but unscheduled and unserialized" and you have a build date already......TO DO LIST: Bug dealer Monday!

 

Mine was the exact same way. I was not expecting it until December since I just got the VIN last Thursday. Apprently it is already built and I will have it next week. They are starting to get these things out quick.

Mine was produced the same week but I have a delivery date for the week of 11/22! I hope you are correct because I am now starting to get a little anxious! B)

 

I think they are really moving now. Tons of pre-orders have been processed as well. This really bodes well for the rest of us waiting!

I placed my confirmed order on 9/15 and still don't have a full
serial number. I received an estimated build date of 11/01 and
haven't heard anything since?

 

I hope the 9/15 order date isn't another kiss of death date.

 

Hmmm, if that kind of schedule holds true then my build date of 11/22 should mean that my car is coming in at the very beginning of december. Thats gonna make it really tough to pay attention to finals instead of daydreaming about the car.

 

Can someone supply me with the number for the automated updates?
I am getting nothing from my dealer.
