Hi everybody. I decided to start this thread to ask what you are getting in the city. I just wanted to know since I am getting 12 driving moderately. Please don't tell me your mixed MPG just city if you have it. On second thought, you can type here what you are getting mixed but please don't vote.

Only vote for city mpg. I wanted to see what people are getting since I am getting 12 and that is not that great in my book.

Good poll to watch closely. Something that I am interested in the results. It would be nice for the pollsters to say also if it includes some "leadfoot"

EDIT: Is this poll only for the GT's? Or also the V6's?

Sorry, this poll is for GT's so we can compare. Maybe a side poll of V6 would be good if people were wondering.

And yes, also reply if you are::
--Driving aggressively
--Driving conservatively
--Which transmission do you have?

EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions.

I have a manual transmission and am not driving it that aggressively or conservatively.

Also if a mod could do this: THere is an option that says 18-29

It should be 18-19, I made a typo

Poll fixed c/o Galaxie

First tank of gas was a tad under 15mpg. Mixed SLOW (25mph) driving on a cold engine, plus gutsy agressive driving. Almost zero freeway cruising.

No, but it just takes the gas used and divides miles.

Also, good choice on the 5-speed. Its fun huh! I can't get enough of this stick shift!

I'm in the 14-15 catagory which I think most people fall into. This includes mostly subdued driving with the occasional 1/2 throttle dips and the once in a great while flooring routine.

ditto. Do you have aut or stick?

I think that has something to do with it.

Wow, I was hoping for a bit more than 14-15. I get about 10mpg more than that right now, although it is a 4 cyllinder.

I've been getting around 14 mpg in the city driving moderately. I have a stick shift.

I'm averaging a little less than 15 mpg with a manual GT. I've only run one tank of gas through it with mostly aggressive city driving and one trip to the next town over.

Hey guys-

I have been getting a good 17 about 1/2 freeway and 1/2 city, and driving agressively at times and conservatively at times. These past couple tanks I have driven almost all freeway and got 20 and 22...no joke, I was amazed I only filled up 10 gallons and i had driven 22X miles. I am very happy with the mileage

Wow...can't wait till I get there. I'm on my first tank, and am getting 14...but I must admit, I'm still not really great with a manual tranny (lol wanna hear a funny story? My first time driving a stick on the street was when I took delivery...only stalled once on the way home :P ) Anyway, my mileage is steadily rising...we'll see where I get it to.
