Arrghhhh my 5 day old Stang ...

Well, it's not too bad, but I just noticed that the seam on one side where the rear bumper meets the rest of the body is not flush! The opposite side is flush. Should this be covered under the warranty & how much time would it take to get it fixed/aligned properly?

That's pretty common when plastic panels meet metal...I have the same problem on my Stang. And don't feel bad, my '01 Vette has the same problems with panel fit and every body panel on it is plastic...just remember that most of the money went into the drivetrain...when you blow past the competition, they will never see the "gap."

It is covered by the warranty. You can take it in to a bodyshop and see what they can do...however, they might make it worse. Remember, you're probably the only one who will notice it.

My right front is like that and I noticed it is on almost all late 05 early 06 GTs. My wife has a GT Vert built late 05 and it has it, but my car is White and I noticed it right away. There are a few screws in the fender well. I loosened mine a turn and then pushed on the trim while tightening. Seems to be better, but I didn't want to do more damage than good.

If this is on the corner where the two meet, there's a thread that I used to remove the taillight on that side and then you can pop the bumper cover and fender corner together as there's a clip inside that holds them in alignment. I did mine a couple of months ago and it's still holding perfect.
