Does anybody know if the AQHA rebate is still available as of 1/1/2005? All the documentation I read says it expires 12/31/2004. Hopefully it will be renewed for the new year.

It's still listed on their web site.

My dealer didn't raise any concerns when I ordered (knowing my car would come in after 1/1/05).

I just checked, the AQHA rebate (unlong with most other current rebates) shows an expiration date of 01/03/05. I will let you know tomorrow if that gets extended.

My car is still on hold and my dealer tells me that there should be no problem with the $500 rebate from AQHA -he says they just renew the discounts every year. We joined in Dec and expect to use the discount in Feb when the car will hopefully be in.

I just got my AQHA e-mail newsletter today and it lists the Ford $500 discount. It's been renewed!

Does this rebate only apply to the US ?
Who would be eligible for this?

Here's a copy/paste from the newsletter: (sorry neighbors to the north; it says US only)

Get a Rebate From Ford
As the official provider of cars, trucks and SUVs to AQHA, Ford has teamed with AQHA to provide a $500 member incentive toward the purchase of select Ford vehicles (excluding special editions). Be sure to take a look at the Ford F-Series pickup trucks, the F-150 and the Super Duty, America's best-selling trucks for 28 straight years. See dealer for complete details and eligibility rules. Other restrictions may apply. Must be an AQHA member for at least 30 days to qualify. Offer good in the United States only.

My 'Select' dealer told me that the way this works with them and presumably any other 'Select' (volume related I think) dealer is that Ford will honor the better of either the AQHA discount or any Ford Motor rebate program that may be in effect at the time of delivery. I don't think anyone here expects to see rebates on Mustangs in 05 but assuming there was a $750 Ford rebate in effect when I pick up my Mustang I would get the $750 in lieu of the AQHA $500 - you can't use both. If there is less than $500 Ford money offered then AQHA kicks in.

According to the information AQHA provides, you can use the discount in addition to other incentives Ford is offering.

"The $500 incentive is in addition to all other publicly available Ford Motor Company retail offers in effect at the time of purchase or lease."

Now I'm not sure exactly how this would deal with "select" dealers, but it may be worth asking the AQHA or calling Ford direct. It's not unusual for dealers to tell you information that betters their side of the deal.

This is available in addition to any public rebate but can't be combined with any private offers (A/Z/D/X plan, college grad, etc..).

Yeah, sux cant use it with the college rebate. College rebate was just increased from $400 to 500 and is good until 2006. So i save another 100 dollars.
