I am considering a 2005 (late) or 2006 GT. I was wondering if there will be any additional options or features added to the 2006 like a hood scoop or other colors. (dark green or deeper maroon)

I am insterested in the 17" machined aluminum wheel option . Will that be carried over in 2006?

Also, looking at 2005 colors Mineral Grey or Redfire. Will these be offered in 2006 as well?

 

There is a preliminary list of colors to be expected for 2006 on this site. Check the timeline...

 

It will be interesting to see if, like previous designs, they make subtle appearance/design changes to S197 over the next five years. And to see if those changes follow the retro pattern, picking up other cues from the 60's Mustangs.

There are a few of us that are in the same boat. Holding off to see the 06, and Cobra. Sit tight my friend.

 

if you are going to wait for late '05 you might as well get the '06 model, you'll be able to get the 18" fanblade wheels, if you are not interested in those, then get the '05.

As for colors, '06 order guides will probably be up in 10-12 weeks, then you can see what the official color list is.
