Theres a new ad for the convertible thats a tear out from magazines. on the front there a yellow GT and on the back it looks like one of those paint sample card from a hardware store. the colors just get a darker shade of bage and is labled one each one may june july august any body get it??

 

I haven't seen the ad, but I'll offer a guess: Might the color samples marked May, June, July, and August be trying to show what your tan will look like over the summer, with the top down?

 

but does it project into winter when those of us that ordered in january o5' don't take delivery til the new model year in september---

 

Saw it and also did not get it.

 

naturally, it is simulating the sun tan that you will be getting with your top down (that is my take on things)

 

Sounds like the advertising firm Ford is using could have been more direct on this ad. I haven't seen the ad, and I still don't get it.

 

I think that tan Idea is a good hunch but still i dont know for sure.

 

The color swatch is supposed to be your TAN if you get a convertible mustang. As the sun will be shining on your body and that you will be driving with the top down all summer, your skin will begin to tan similar to the shades on the color chip!

I think it's a great ad... it INVOLVES the user.. makes you think.

 

it's easy.....it's trying to show you the tan you'll get from having your top down

 

I would have to agree, we all need tans in the summer. the ad is very clever showing only the spring / summer months!!

That is right! has every body who's seen it got in sports Illustrated SSE also? well on the the page next to the tearout it has a model in a bikini and it says something about her tan and the 2005 Mustang convertible.
