*All the prices are whats on my qoute from the AAFES New Car Sales dealership. The recently had everything on the '05 Stang updated about a month ago, they were using the Mach 1 pricing to give qoutes. I guess they thought it would be the same ball park, as we can it's considerably cheaper.

Thanks for the info, but that isn't official pricing. The "uplift" charge is the first sign that this pricing isn't the real deal. Its based on last years pricing with an assumed increase for the new model.

Be patient, pricing should be here come next summer I'm sure.

I know....we've had a few other people post similar invoice sheets for military personnel. But I'm sure it isn't the "real deal". Thanks for posting though.

I guess it gives us a ballpark figure though.

Second page, I don't know the reason for the uplift catagory, maybe it is based on last years pricing. But I did sign a contract saying that this, no more, no less is what I am paying. Unless at the time of pickup the rebate has increased, then I get an increased rebate, but the rebate will not drop below 1,000.00$

Just a thought:

There holding back prices to last minute to shock auto mags at just how low they are gonna be.Maybe the pricing point is one of the strongest aspects of the car,and they want to get maximum press value when they unveil it.Also with them pricing the 2004 at well below retail, holding off on the low 2005 might help them unload as many older models as possible.Could it be that the 2005 are as cheap as the now discounted 2004?

Sure, go for it.

Ah yes, a 15 day road trip in a stang......priceless.

Yeah it'd be a wicked road trip IMO, 15 days, me, the Stang, and the road. All I have to worry about are the pesky Goats and F-body's. I cruised over and did a lil recon on their site yesterday, man they really hate that we're getting a 300HP GT. LOL, not such easy prey as a stock 260HP GT

I did a power to liter calculation the other day and if Ford made a 5.7 liter it would make roughly 40 more HP than GMs. Just goes to show that Ford is getting more into the refinement aspecs of a car. Not to mention iron blocks with pushrods weigh a whole lot more than aluminum blocks with SOHC/DOHC.
