I was wondering if anyone in the metro detroit area has theirs yet because I keep hearing about them arriving in other states and we are the closest and home to the plant?

I ordered mine from a dealer in Livonia and no word yet. My sister in law works for Ford and her cousin works for AAI. He looked up my VIN, found it in lot #3 (whatever that means). It has shown to have no defects and does not need to go back for parts or anything. It's just sitting in a lot.

guys, none in toledo area yet either. two very big dealers said that they expect them maybe next week. weird that you would think dealers close to the plant would have one or two, but none!

none here (ann arbor). glad I ordered it in May, too. you know, since folks can pretty much walk in to dealers all over the country and buy one off the showroom floor. yep, sure was good to order one EARLY.

Ford blows :notnice:

I talked to my buddy at Fairlane Ford in Dearborn and they just got a few in. One of them was being paid for with cash and the owner is having it shipped to South Africa.

Ordered mine in May from Varsity Ford.....no word yet. They are all clueless! This is really starting to get ridiculous! I work for Ford Credit and have been religously checking the dealer websites and checking with friends that work at AAI and really no one knows anything. I heard a rumor in the company that the marketing directors want the mustang to be delivered to the Southern and Western states first....why, I have NO CLUE! Of course our mustangs are sitting in a lot at AAI....just sitting there. I can't see no reason why they cannot get them to the dealers. Oh, also - I read an artical on the internal ford dealership website saying that the Michigan dealerships just went through the sales and marketing meeting with Ford and the engineers of the mustang and also the technicians "quick fix" and "most common repairs" information was shared. This meeting was this past tuesday. What the heck?!?!

So anyway, we Michiganders sit and wait for our rides while envying all you that are getting yours! They'll come eventually, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get "that call" from the dealership in the next 2-3 weeks.......

I'd feel very safe saying Michigan, especially the South East has about the highest number of Mustangs per capital in the Country. Why are they making us wait?
