Anyone interested in a matte black spoiler?

I'm gauging interest in pre-painted, ready-to-install, matte black factory style spoilers for those of you looking to give your Mustang the Mach 1/Boss 302 look.

Is anyone currently offering this product? We have a supplier that does excellent paint work and they may be able to do these for us. If you are interested please reply to this thread.

Thanks,
-Nino

I'd be interested also Nino.
Currently, gloss black is the only pre-painted option that I'm aware of.
Been wanting a black one.

Yeah your car really would look great with a matte black spoiler. Nice mufflers btw.

Me too. Would love to match my Mach1's. Did the dovetail on my 05, but just wasn't what I was looking for. So, when I found this 07, with the stock spoiler, figured when ever I found what I liked, I would at least have a trade in item. Soooooooo, Yes, Yes. Count me in.

alluminum louvers would be a nice "group buy" some day....

I've been looking for louvers for the rear window just not wanting to drop 400 at the moment for them. My wife asked me what I "want" for i assume valentines day, and i was thinking of mentioning a rear louver for the back window.

I wondered when Somebody would Get Around to This. In My Opinion It would Need to Be As Close to a 69/70 Boss Spoiler as Possable. But it Would Need to Use Existing Mounting holes. BTMO. I like the Idea!

Kevin, I dont think he's talking about making a new spoiler design, just using the existing style and selling them in matte black color.

I think its a cool idea and alot of cars would look great with it!

There Are Certainly enough Take offs Out there to do that! Personally Though I would Like to See a Different Design. Perhaps With an Adjustable for Height and Angle Pedestal.

These are not take-offs but brand new blow-molded composite wings with custom paint (not factory re-painted fiberglass wings). Keep that in mind because the price is not going to be near $100. Most aftermarket wings go for $250-290 unpainted. Painted they go for around $350-390.

The most important thing for us is the quality of the paint job. We initially thought about getting some take-off wings repainted. But take-offs may have imperfections from handling during removal, not to mention the painter would have to prep the part to paint over an existing paint layer. We just don't feel that a repeatable, high quality paint job can be expected compared to taking a brand new raw wing and having it painted. We want our customers to have the best.

We're expecting to receive our first wing on Thursday with the matte black paint. If we like what we see we'll announce pricing and add the part to the store.

-Nino

P.S.
We also sell factory take-off wings in glossy black for $99.95 in case anyone is interested.

The wing arrived as scheduled and I am very happy with the quality of the paint job. This thing looks nice and it's packaged nicely to protect it during transit. You can see from the pictures that there's a thick outer layer of bubble-wrap and also an inner layer of a foam wrapping. Included are installation instuctions, hardware for those that don't have a wing at all, and some foam pads that fit between the wing and trunk. Here are some pics of the wing as we unpacked it and inspected it here at Ninosport. We are very confident that everyone looking for the Boss302 or Mach1 retro look will love this wing. We will announce pricing and add it to our web store tomorrow. Initially this will be classified as a Special Order item so there is a 3 day lead time to ship it. Judging from the response we've gotten on this forum and over the phone we expect a healthy stream of sales.

More pics of the wing installed on our project Mustang to come tomorrow.

I have added the wing to our online store and the price is set at $299.95. There is a lead time of 3 days to ship due to the custom paint job.

try offering a gloss black spoiler. The body shop messed up and painted mine matte instead of gloss, it looked stupid on a torch red. The gloss looks great on brighter colors. unfortunatly I dont have any good pictures right now but heres one anyway

Very nice. Once I have some money again for the car, I'll look into these. Going for the Mach 1 look on my car.
